I use my childhood photographs and family portraits taken from the 1980s combined with patterns extracted from the pages of my passports, including the British (overseas) passport and the Hong Kong S.A.R. passport. There are different symbols and cultural representations created and determined by different authorities, and embedded in each passport. I attempt to explore different visual elements from daily objects which have specific connotations attached.
